2150 invests in climate tech start-ups globally to reimagine and reshape the Urban Stack. We are looking for a growth-minded and analytical Visiting Associate to join us for a six month term (that could lead to a permanent position.)

As a Visiting Analyst, you will see the inside of a climate venture fund and contribute to a range of pipeline and deal flow activities with the investment team. We imagine that you are smart, motivated – and very interested in working to help combat climate change.

The role

• Assist across all stages of deal execution – from sourcing new deals, preparation of investment memos and other due diligence, through reporting results
• Identify and evaluate potential investments in innovative startups and new technologies
• Use financial models and market research to assess the viability and growth potential of companies
• Work with portfolio companies to help drive their success and identify new investment opportunities
• Build relationships with entrepreneurs and other industry professionals
• Help with various internal topics (e.g., events, blog posts, research, and more…)

What we expect

• 1-2 years of experience in an Analyst role in a venture fund or investment bank
• Previous experience in the climate sector is helpful – a passion for climate technology is essential
• Strong English language skills, both verbal and writing
• A right to work in the UK. We are unfortunately unable to offer internship visas.

• Flexibility: you have the versatility to work with the team on a number of core problems and don’t mind taking on any task at a high pace
