About the role

• As a logistics coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations. Your role includes ensuring schedules are met, shipments are processed efficiently, and inventory is managed effectively to meet internal and external customer demands.

What you'll do

• Work with manufacturing and engineering team(s) to vet preferred supply chain partners.

• Negotiate quantity/quality-based costing incentives with suppliers and contractors.

• Coordinate logistics activities, including scheduling and dispatching shipments.

• Place purchase orders.

• Monitor shipments and ensure on-time delivery.

• Maintain communication with suppliers, carriers, and customers.

• Manage inventory records and transportation documentation.

• Resolve issues regarding transportation, logistics systems, and inventory discrepancies.

• Ensure import and export compliance with local and international laws and regulations.

• Industrial related experience in logistics, supply chain management and quality control preferred.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.

• ISO 9001 quality management preferred.

• High school diploma/GED required, bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field preferred.
