About CarbonCure Technologies

CarbonCure Technologies is a fast-growing carbon utilization technology company on a mission to reduce embodied carbon in new concrete construction. With hundreds of carbon mineralization systems operating worldwide, CarbonCure’s technologies inject and permanently embed captured CO₂ in concrete while also enabling reductions of carbon-intensive cement from each truckload of concrete. This innovative solution has saved hundreds of thousands of metric tons of CO₂ to date, and that impact grows with every truckload of concrete our producer partners supply in their markets. CarbonCure’s cutting-edge research and innovation have also garnered global recognition and prestigious awards, most notably the Carbon XPRIZE Grand Prize and induction into the Cleantech 100 Hall of Fame. CarbonCure’s investors include Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Blue Earth Capital, BDC, Amazon, Taronga Ventures, 2150, Microsoft, Samsung Ventures, BH3 Growth Equity, Carbon Direct, GreenSoil Investments and Mitsubishi Corporation. Based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, you will be CarbonCure’s senior regional operational lead, shaping go-to-market strategy, building trusted customer and partner relationships, and coordinating the commercial, technical, and operational execution needed to grow the business. The ideal candidate will have executive presence, industry credibility, and demonstrated ability to turn complex market opportunities into scalable regional growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

Regional Leadership & Business Management

  • Lead regional operations, business performance, pipeline growth, partner activity, and customer delivery across the Middle East.
  • Build scalable processes, operating rhythms, and a high-performing regional ecosystem focused on safety, quality, accountability, and customer success.

Commercial Growth & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and broader GCC.
  • Identify, negotiate, and close opportunities with concrete producers, developers, contractors, government stakeholders, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Monitor customer needs, competitive dynamics, policy developments, and embodied carbon requirements to guide growth strategy.

Customer Success & Operational Execution

  • Oversee the customer lifecycle from planning and deployment through service, optimization, retention, and expansion.
  • Coordinate with global support and shared services teams, including Engineering, Product Development, Finance, and legal, to ensure strong execution and customer experience.

Technical, Regulatory & Industry Leadership

  • Act as a trusted technical and commercial advisor to customers, consultants, specifiers, industry bodies, and government stakeholders.
  • Support testing, validation, certification, standards engagement, and commercially relevant technical messaging.
  • Represent CarbonCure in regional low-carbon concrete, carbon utilization, and sustainability discussions and forums.

Regional Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Build the long-term regional operating model, including staffing, vendors, distributors, contractors, and strategic partners.
  • Assess market opportunities, risks, CO₂ supply dynamics, regulatory requirements, and operational readiness across the Middle East.
  • Provide market intelligence, forecasting, reporting, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 10–15+ years of experience in concrete, cement, construction materials, admixtures, industrial gases, sustainability, or related construction technology.
  • Previous commercial leadership experience across GCC markets, specifically the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman.

  • Technical understanding of ready-mix concrete, batching plants, admixtures, cementitious materials, or related technologies.
  • Experience with decarbonization, embodied carbon, carbon utilization, CCUS, ESG, or industrial gas supply chains.
  • Ability to manage complex commercial and operational priorities in relationship-driven markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field preferred; MBA an asset.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic; additional languages are an asset.
  • Based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, with the ability to travel extensively across the GCC and occasional international travel.
