The Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Sales Administrator where you'll handle customer inquiries, qualify potential leads, and provide tailored solutions. You'll support our 2 other sales team members, manage records, and ensure seamless coordination between Sales & Installations. We're looking for excellent communicators with strong attention to detail, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in sales support, customer relationship management, and a passion for the renewables sector.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Handle incoming inquiries, qualify potential customers, conduct outbound follow-up calls, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions. Maintain a professional and positive telephone manner to enhance customer experience.
- Sales Support and Processing: Manage and process inbound sales leads promptly and accurately, support team members by answering incoming sales calls, assist in scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and ensure seamless coordination between Sales & Installations staff.
- Solution Design and Quotation Preparation: Engage with customers to determine if our products fit their needs, perform initial qualifications and explorations, provide indicative quotes, and develop accurate cost estimates for competitive quotations.
- Customer Record Management: Maintain organised, up-to-date customer records to support effective account management, create detailed reports using Microsoft Office tools, and generate and analyse sales reports to provide insights into performance against targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Offer excellent customer service throughout the sales and after-sales process, follow up on inquiries to ensure satisfaction, foster long-term relationships, and promptly address and resolve customer issues or concerns.
- Pipeline Development and Continuous Improvement: Strategically build the sales pipeline by collaborating with the team to form strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, stay updated on industry trends, and continuously enhance sales and administrative processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Sales Support and Processing: Proven experience in accurately managing and processing sales leads and supporting team members.
- Customer Record Management: Expertise in maintaining organised customer records, generating reports using Microsoft Office, and analysing sales data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with customers and understand their needs.
- Customer Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in preparing quotations, managing records, and generating reports.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Extra Credit:
- Renewable Energy Experience: Background in the renewable energy sector, particularly with heat pump and solar installations.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems and advanced Microsoft Office Suite.
- Pipeline Development: Proven success in building and managing a sales pipeline.
Our Recruitment Process:
- Initial Call: Start with an introductory call with Hometree Group's Junior Talent Acquisition Partner, to discuss the role and your potential fit. (30 mins)
- Skills-Based Interview: Engage in a detailed discussion about your past experiences with the Head of Sales of Hometree Group. (1 hr)
- Final Stage: Spend time with Geowarmth's Senior Contracts Manager and the Managing Director to explore alignment and expectations.
