The Role:

The Head of Product Marketing leads all efforts to position, price, and package OpenSolar, and all of its individual features. Working extremely closely with the Global Head of Product (Executive Team) and the Product Management team, the role ensures that all existing and new features are introduced and presented to our users in an easy to understand and compelling way, speeding up feature adoption and engagement of the existing and new user base. The role reports directly to the Global Head of Growth (Executive Team).

Your key responsibilities:

  • Team up with the product organization in order to understand, research, price, package and position every major new feature on the roadmap
  • Work with the research team to gain user insights, and incorporate them into the product marketing process
  • Lead the process of product introduction to the user base, including all dot releases e.g. 3.1, 3.2, working closely with the rest of the marketing team to help inform marketing and pr campaigns
  • Project manage major product launches across all teams
  • Actively maintain and communicate all key statistics that present the company and the brand in the best light possible
  • Work with the global business development team to help shape product and partnership pitches to BD prospects
  • Work with the Global Head of Sales (Executive team) on sales enablement strategy and materials that ensure the sales and support team are educated and up to speed on how to talk about OpenSolar and its features

What you’ll need:

  • A passion for the environment and scaling clean energy
  • A minimum of five years of experience in product management and/or product marketing in the tech sector
  • Excellent communication skills - good listener with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized, good time-management and structured in your work style
  • High attention to detail and a passion for problem solving, getting to core user insights, and informing excellent marketing and pr campaigns
  • Ability to think quickly and solve problems on the spot in a fast paced scale up environment
  • The desire to positively contribute to shaping organizational culture and be part of a diverse team
  • A complete comfort working in a highly matrixed, flat and informal structure, with the natural ability to build relationships and partner with other teams
