The Role:
The Director of Pro Experience role is a full-time permanent position, the role will report to the Global Head of Pro Experience. The role is a full-time remote position located in India
The primary objective of the role is to drive customer and revenue growth on the OpenSolar platform. This involves directly selling the OpenSolar software to key account prospects, customers and managing a team of Pro Experience members to sell, train and support users of the platform.
The key success criteria also involves being the “face” of OpenSolar in the market to position and represent the brand in a respectable and professional manner by building long-lasting relationships with solar installers and partners.
Your key responsibilities:
- Directly sell, train and support medium to large scale solar companies on OpenSolar.
- Manage a sales funnel of prospects to ensure high conversion rates and growth in user activity.
- Oversee, manage and mentor a team of existing Pro Experience staff to ensure high levels of sales & support are maintained.
- Report on key metrics to make sure growth targets are being met on a monthly basis.
- Work with a global experience team to collaborate on best practices and create a virtual team community.
- Work with global product, software and data teams to be the pro voice in all in app development across the company's strategic priorities.
- Develop strategies to scale growth and support the monetisation of the company.
- Travel to in-person events to meet and connect with installers.
What you’ll need:
- Have a genuine passion for building relationships with ProUsers and partners to ensure their success with OpenSolar.
- Excellent listening, oral and written skills to uphold a high level of customer service.
- Ability to use a CRM system to manage a sales funnel of leads and users.
- Sales and Forecasting skills
- Introductory software skills (experience with HubSpot, and Zendesk preferred).
- Highly organised, good time-management and structured in your work style.
- High attention to detail and a passion for problem solving.
- Experience in leading a small team and helping develop their individual skills.
- The desire to positively contribute to shaping organisational culture and be part of a diverse team.
