The Role:

OpenSolar offers its platform free to solar contractors and generates revenue through industry partners who sell products and services inside the software. The Growth/Monetization function helps expand those revenue streams and ensures teams across OpenSolar apply a “monetization lens” to the value we create.

We’re hiring a Marketing Lead for the Americas. You’ll own integrated marketing strategy and execution for the North American market, driving campaigns that grow installer engagement, partner visibility, and platform monetization. This role reports to the Global Head of Marketing.

In this role, you’ll design and execute integrated marketing campaigns for OpenSolar’s solar professional user base across the USA and Canada. You’ll also work directly with North American partners to grow their presence on the platform through co-marketing and paid campaign initiatives.

It’s an excellent fit for someone who is highly organized, creative, and skilled at communicating sophisticated technology to busy professionals. In this high-visibility role, you will work closely with executive leaders and be a key player in the design and delivery of strategic projects.

What you’ll own:

Integrated Campaigns & GTM

  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns for solar installers across the USA and Canada, spanning email, social, web, paid search, in-platform, and partner channels
  • Own regional campaign planning and communications calendars, ensuring coordinated execution across teams, channels, and markets
  • Launch and promote new OpenSolar features and initiatives to drive installer awareness, engagement, and platform adoption
  • Collaborate with product, sales, growth, and creative teams to develop compelling messaging and campaign assets tailored to the North American market
  • Create and manage campaign content including landing pages, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and customer communications

Partner Marketing

  • Oversee the delivery of paid marketing packages sold to North American partners to ensure high-quality campaign delivery and strong partner experience
  • Collaborate with finance, manufacturing, and distribution partners to design and execute co-marketing campaigns that grow partner visibility and engagement with solar installers

Regional Growth, Events & PR

  • Own the planning and execution of OpenSolar’s regional conference and industry event presence, including booth activations, marketing collateral, and partner engagement
  • Develop regional customer advocacy initiatives, including installer testimonials, case studies, and success stories
  • Identify and execute regional PR and award submission opportunities

Performance & Insights

  • Partner with the business intelligence team to measure campaign performance, installer engagement, and regional growth trends, using insights and market feedback to continuously improve messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness

What you’ll need:

Marketing Skills:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably B2B and/or SaaS experience in solar/clean energy
  • Proven track record in designing and executing localized marketing campaigns
  • Experience in partner marketing is strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in marketing campaign measurement and ROI analysis
  • Working knowledge of Canva, CRM (ideally Hubspot), and CMS (WordPress)
  • Familiarity with SEO/AEO

Other skills:

  • Experience working with product management and web development teams to build campaign assets such as landing pages and OpenSolar Expo stands
  • Strong ability to self-motivate and innovate without waiting for direction
  • Project management skills to manage matrixed cross-functional teams
  • Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to establish trusted, collaborative relationships with our many global and local partners
