About Vammo

Vammo is building an accessible, resilient, and scalable clean energy network for emerging megacities, starting in Latin America. By combining electric motorcycle subscriptions with a rapidly expanding battery swap infrastructure, we make clean transportation affordable and reliable for the millions who keep cities moving.

Founded in 2022 and headquartered in São Paulo, Vammo has raised $100M from top-tier investors across the globe. Our founders and team represent an incredibly diverse and international group that is built of former executives coming from Tesla, Uber, Rappi, iFood, Loggi, Niu, Jump and others. We are all deeply motivated by the mission to decarbonize Latin America while simultaneously reducing costs for one of the region’s most vulnerable populations.

The next wave of mobility innovation will come not from San Francisco, but from São Paulo. Our operations will soon expand from Sao Paulo to cities across Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia, proving that real climate impact and transformative business models can be built first where the need is greatest.

About the Role

Vammo is hiring a strategic, high-performing leader to join our Special Projects & Strategy team - a small, elite group working directly with executives and founders - to solve the most complex and high-impact challenges in the company.

You will lead high-impact initiatives that directly influence Vammo's operational and financial performance, from fleet utilization optimization to spare parts cost reduction. This is a cross-functional role that requires partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Product, Hardware, and Finance to design solutions and drive implementation.

This role combines deep analytical thinking with hands-on execution to drive operational excellence, optimize costs, and ensure accountability across our asset portfolio.

This is a role for someone who thrives on ambiguity, loves tackling hard problems, and moves seamlessly between data, strategy, and execution. You will be deeply embedded across teams - working hand-in-hand with Fleet, Charging, Maintenance, Sales, Software, and Hardware - and expected to think like an owner.

You will be based in São Paulo and will report directly to executives at Vammo

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute high-impact strategic projects that directly influence Vammo's operational and financial performance, with a focus on asset utilization, custody, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with functional leaders to identify bottlenecks, design solutions, and drive implementation.
  • Build analytical frameworks and dashboards to inform decision-making across the company, including asset utilization metrics, custody tracking, cost analysis, and operational performance.
  • Develop business cases, models, and strategic plans for new initiatives.
  • Own key cross-functional workstreams including asset custody and utilization (battery and box custody), spare parts cost optimization, logistics and distribution, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Translate insights into clear recommendations and operational action — bridge the gap between analysis and execution, ensuring strategic insights drive real-world results.
  • Work closely with the founders and leadership team on board materials and strategic communications.
  • Build and mentor small, high-performing project teams as the function scales, including analysts and specialists focused on logistics, cost optimization, and asset management.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of total experience, ideally including:

3–4 years in a high-growth startup or operating role where you owned key projects end-to-end.

2–4 years at a top-tier management consulting firm (BCG, Bain, McKinsey, etc.)

  • Proven track record of leading and executing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills — comfortable in Excel, PowerPoint, and with messy data.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize ruthlessly, and move fast.
  • Strong business judgment and curiosity about how hardware, logistics, and software intersect.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish or Chinese a plus.
  • Based in São Paulo, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Strong alignment with Vammo’s mission and values.

What You’ll Get

  • A front-row seat at one of Latin America’s most ambitious hardware and climate tech startups, backed by world-class investors.
  • A mission-driven environment where every decision contributes to decarbonizing mobility and empowering low-income workers.
  • Exposure to all areas of the business — you’ll work directly with the founders and leadership team on company-defining decisions.
  • Freedom to take on as much responsibility as you can handle — and grow faster than anywhere else.
  • Competitive compensation and equity package.
  • Health insurance and benefits.
  • A collaborative, fast-paced, and purpose-driven team that loves to build real things in the real world.
